Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Learning & Development professional who also brings strong Project and Program Management capabilities. This hybrid role will play a dual responsibility of owning logistics training & development initiatives across South Asia and particularly, Sri Lanka and Nepal, while also assisting in key PMO-led strategic projects across the Daraz Group.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Development (60%)

  • Design, localize, and execute training programs for front-line, mid-level, and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with country teams to assess learning needs and ensure alignment with regional capability-building goals.
  • Deliver engaging virtual and in-person sessions, ensuring high NPS from trainees.
  • Track and report learning impact using metrics and feedback tools.
  • Support onboarding, performance enablement, and leadership development programs.

Project & Program Management (40%)

  • Assist in planning, execution, and tracking of regional PMO-led initiatives.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, and communications for multi-country projects.
  • Create SOPs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for project health.
  • Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project momentum.

Candidate Profile

Must-Haves:

  • 4+ years in Learning & Development programs with experience designing and delivering training
  • 2+ years of Project or Program Management experience
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and either Sinhala/Tamil (Sri Lanka) or Nepali (Nepal)
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with regional markets (Sri Lanka or Nepal)
  • Certifications like PMP, Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt), or Instructional Design
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization or cross-border projects
