DEX Last Mile Regional - Manager

Key Responsibilities:

 

Operational Leadership:

  • Manage all regional operations hubs including sort centers, delivery stations, and pick-up/drop-off (PUDO) points.
  • Ensure full compliance with Daraz SOPs, safety standards, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee first-mile pickups, middle-mile transport, and last-mile delivery to ensure on-time, cost-effective performance.

Performance Management:

  • Monitor and drive key operational OKRs/KPIs such as success rate, lead-time, rider productivity, and cost per order.
  • Identify bottlenecks, root causes of underperformance, and implement corrective actions.

Team Management:

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of area managers, operations supervisors, hub leads, and delivery associates.
  • Build a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Process Improvement & Execution:

  • Analyze data to identify operational inefficiencies; lead initiatives for process standardization and automation.
  • Collaborate with central operations, tech, and process excellence teams to implement pilots and scale successful solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with logistics partners, linehaul vendors, facility providers, and other external stakeholders to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Coordinate with commercial, customer service, and seller support teams to align on peak season planning and issue resolution.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure all operational activities comply with local laws, labor regulations, and company policies.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in operations or logistics roles, preferably in e-commerce, FMCG, or 3PL.
  • Proven experience managing large, distributed teams and multiple facilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-first mindset.
  • Experience with operational tools, WMS, ERP systems, and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the region for site visits and performance reviews.
