Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing and strategically driven Business Development Lead to spearhead the growth of our Third-Party Vendor (3PV) logistics business. This role is critical in expanding our 3PV footprint, acquiring high-value clients, and building long-term partnerships. The selected candidate will play a central role in identifying new business opportunities, establishing commercial partnerships, and shaping the 3PV business strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the acquisition of key clients by identifying high-potential leads and converting them into long-term business partners.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and develop winning sales strategies.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent revenue growth and client onboarding.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Ops, Finance, Legal, Tech) to develop and deliver customized solutions to the clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs, and commercials in line with company guidelines and revenue targets.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Maintain key account relationships to ensure satisfaction, renewal, and upselling of value-added services.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the logistics, e-commerce, or 3PL space.
  • Proven track record of client acquisition and revenue generation in a B2B setting.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, pricing models, and SLAs in the local market.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and deliver on aggressive targets.
  • Must have 2 wheeler driving license

Preferred Background

  • Currently working in or has previously worked at other top logistics companies.
  • Has a strong network and understanding of the local 3PV client ecosystem.
  • Experience in launching or scaling a logistics or last-mile delivery vertical will be a plus.
