Job Summary:

Serve as a key finance partner, managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate payment execution, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize tax compliance and financial reporting across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of payment processing (local + international), including preparing the payout, updating correct bank/legal details, while ensuring adherence to established procedures and service level agreements.
  • Manage seller sentiment by keeping a close eye on pending payments so that they are processed in time
  • Uploading the relevant bank details on the portal
  • Ensure all manual uploads pertaining to a revenue/expense is done timely every week so that seller sentiment stays under control
  • In case of any deviation from set weekly timeline, the seller communication team should be kept in loop to avoid escalations
  • Ensure a high level of stakeholder satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving payment-related issues, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with the Legal, Risk & Seller On-boarding team to ensure any requests pertaining to accelerating or delaying payouts can be addressed promptly.
  • Resolving complaints received from KAMs through email, Xspace, Ding related to delays in payments on a daily basis.
  • Performing adhoc UATs on the payout systems as per request from FBP team.
  • Prepare accruals for cross-border payments to be submitted to the Reporting team.
  • Manage and coordinate the reconciliation of the relevant systems to ensure they balance and that any discrepancies or variations are investigated and corrected.
  • Liaising with tax team to provide a monthly input on the revenue recorded so tax can be filed accurately and timely.
  • Review and improve payment /uploads related processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize processing times, leveraging automation and technology solutions where applicable.
  • Perform a weekly detailed reconciliation between different internal systems to ensure accuracy in the payout being processed

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum Bachelors Preferably Masters or ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 Years of experience in payments, stakeholder management and account payables.
  • Strong analytical and advance excel skills.
  • Previous experience as a payables/payments analyst would be a plus.
