Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager to manage and grow key strategic accounts in the FMCG sector. This individual will play a key role in driving the success of our online sales channels and fostering strong relationships with major e-commerce platforms, ensuring the visibility and growth of our FMCG product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for major e-commerce accounts (Amazon, Walmart, Flipkart, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders.
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for new product listings, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize the potential of each key account.
- Monitor and manage the overall sales performance for each account, including sales volume, revenue, and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and consumer behavior to optimize pricing and promotional strategies.
- Product Listings & Optimization:
- Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings, ensuring they meet platform requirements and best practices.
- Ensure product content (descriptions, images, SEO keywords) is accurate and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Marketing & Promotions:
- Plan and execute e-commerce marketing campaigns, including digital promotions, discounts, and seasonal offers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to drive digital advertising and enhance product visibility on e-commerce platforms.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure stock availability, timely deliveries, and alignment with demand forecasts.
- Manage inventory levels and resolve stock issues, ensuring product availability on e-commerce platforms.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Provide regular performance reports, including sales metrics, growth opportunities, and ROI analysis.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, traffic, and AOV (average order value) to measure account performance.
- Customer Satisfaction & Problem Resolution:
- Address customer queries, complaints, and concerns in a timely manner.
- Work closely with customer service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction on all e-commerce platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in key account management or e-commerce sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) and their operational processes.
- Solid knowledge of FMCG products, trends, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and e-commerce tools (Google Analytics, Seller Central, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
