Job Summary:

Serve as a strategic partner to logistics and finance teams, leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration to optimize infrastructure, drive cost efficiencies, and support continuous operational improvement across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of performance and cost metrics across all logistics functions including first mile, line haul, and last mile.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and improvement opportunities by recognizing patterns, anomalies, and trends in large datasets.
  • Develop clear business cases, including cost-benefit analyses, to support investment decisions and key operational initiatives.
  • Design and maintain insightful dashboards and automated reports to track critical KPIs and measure the impact of optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — particularly Finance and Operations — to lead cost rationalization projects from initiation to execution.
  • Support strategic planning by providing data-backed insights and recommendations for continuous process improvement.
  • Monitor post-implementation results to ensure the sustainability of optimization initiatives.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or strategy roles with a focus on performance and cost optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and data visualization tools.
  • Proven track record of using data to identify inefficiencies and drive measurable improvements.
  • Solid understanding of logistics operations and cost structures across first mile, line haul, and last mile.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience in e-commerce, express logistics, or tech-driven logistics ecosystems.
  • Financial modeling skills and experience working closely with finance teams.
  • A problem-solver mindset with high ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
