Senior Key Account Manager - FMCG

Job Summary:

We are seeking for a dynamic and result-oriented Key Account Manager to manage and grow key accounts at Daraz in the FMCG sector. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our platform growth and fostering strong relationships with the major e-commerce sellers and brands, ensuring the visibility and growth of our FMCG product offerings.

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the assigned FMCG key accounts operating at Daraz
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the key accounts and their stakeholders
  • Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for new product listings, consumer promotions and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure campaign participation of the key accounts with product specific target price
  • Ensure seller participation in core conversion mechanisms (Free Shipping, Vouchers etc.) and campaign tractions (BOGO, Flat Discount etc.)
  • Monitor and manage the overall sales performance for each account, including sales volume, revenue, and profitability
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and consumer behavior to optimize pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings, ensuring they meet platform requirements and best practices
  • Ensure product content (descriptions, images, SEO keywords) is accurate and aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure display marketing and product marketing budget from the key accounts and convert them into potential sales growth and brand visibility.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital promotions, discounts, and seasonal offers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive digital advertising and enhance product visibility on Daraz platform
  • Coordinate with the sellers to ensure stock availability, timely deliveries and alignment with demand forecasting
  • Manage inventory levels and resolve stock issues, ensuring product availability on the platform
  • Provide regular performance reports, including sales metrics, growth opportunities, and ROI analysis
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, sales quantity, conversion rates, traffic, and average order value to measure account performance.
  • Address seller queries, complaints, and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with issue resolution team to ensure high seller satisfaction on all relevant queries

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, preferably in Marketing.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in key account management or e-commerce sales, preferably in the FMCG sector; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and their operational processes- Solid knowledge of FMCG products, trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis (Advanced knowledge in Excel & Google Sheet) and e-commerce tools (Meta Business Suit, Seller Center etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business and team objectives.
  • Ability to work under pressure, do multi-tasking and adapt fast-moving work environment.
